Adoption Process- 

Once kittens are 6 weeks old we start accepting deposits. We will send you photos of the available kittens. We do not allow visitors to our home to view the kittens at this age. ‘You are welcome to visit your kitten after he/she is vaccinated if there are not unvaccinated kittens in our home at that time!

 

Our kittens are ready for their new home when they are between 14-16 weeks old. This is to ensure all inoculations, physical development and social stability needed for their new home environment.

 

Our kittens do not leave our home until they are up to date on all vaccinations and have been de-wormed.

We send photos of your kitten every 2-3 weeks so you can watch your little one grow. 

Videos will be posted on our Instagram page as well! 

Please be sure you do thorough research on this breed! Sphynx are known to be very emotionally dependent cats and require a lot of attention! They can be very demanding of emotional support.  They do great with dogs, children and other pets as well. Please be sure that your lifestyle is a good fit. 

 

Deposit-

When you are ready to reserve a kitten, please send me your contact information, and I will email you the kitten contract to sign. It is signed electronically online. You have 48 hours to sign it or contract voids. Once you sign contract your depsosit can be made.

Purpose of the Deposit

At Tiny Sphynxery, we carefully match our kittens to loving pet homes. Because kittens are reserved months in advance and require daily care and veterinary preparation, we require a non-refundable deposit to hold a kitten for you. This ensures that we only place holds with committed buyers and that our kittens are not unnecessarily removed from the adoption list.

Deposit Amount-

A non-refundable deposit of $400 is required to reserve a kitten. This amount will be applied toward the total purchase price of the kitten.

Non-Refundable Nature-

Deposits are non-refundable if the buyer changes their mind, delays pickup, fails to complete payment, or is unable to take the kitten for personal reasons.

This policy is in place because:

  • Once a kitten is reserved, we stop advertising and offering it to other families.
  • We invest in veterinary care, food, and daily needs during the holding period.
  • Older kittens are more difficult to place if a reservation is canceled.

Refund Exceptions-

If we, the breeder, must cancel the sale due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., the kitten develops a health issue or is deemed unfit for placement), the deposit will be refunded in full or transferred to another kitten at your choice.

Balance & Pickup-

The remaining balance is due by 10-12 weeks of age.
